Today at work I enjoyed this little interchange.
Phone rings and user needs password changed. After 10 minutes of try to explain how to log off the computer and log in with a temporary password she wants to change it.
Her: It won’t take my new password. It says it does not meet the complexity requirements.
Me: Does your password have a capital letter in it?
Her: No.
Me: You need one.
Her: No.
Me: Yes!
Today I came across a section of a church web site that really caused me to think. NewSpring Church has a section of their website where they feature the stories of people that attend their church who have discovered Christ there.
What I started to think about is, why don’t we spend time celebrating these stories more? I know at the church I attend it is not something we do. I don’t remember the last time we made an emphasis on the changing power of Christ in ones life. I would love to see something like what NewSpring has done. Or possibly more focus on testimonies live on a Sunday morning and quality produced video testimonies. There are so many possibilities to explore for sharing how Christ can change a life.
